Being a Christian organisation Rivers of Life Ministries adheres to the Statement of Faith as detailed below:

THE BIBLE

The Bible was originally given, to be without error, from the fully inspired and infallible Word of God and the supreme and final authority in all matters.

THE TRINITY
There is one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are coequal and eternal.

GOD THE FATHER
The Father is the Begetter; the Son is the Begotten; and the Holy Ghost is the One proceeding from the Father and the Son. Therefore, because these three persons in the Godhead are in a state of unity, there is but one Lord God Almighty.

GOD THE SON
The name Immanuel embraces both God and man, in the one person, our Lord Jesus Christ. It follows the title Son of God, which describes His proper deity, and the title Son of Man, His proper humanity. Therefore, the title Son of God belongs to the order of eternity, and the title Son of Man to the order of time.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit (who proceeds from the Father and the Son) is divine. His work is the conviction of sin, repentance, regeneration and sanctification. Through Him the believer is empowered for fuller participation in the ministry of the Church, its worship, making of disciples and service.

MAN
Man was created in the image of God. But he sinned and thereby incurred not only spiritual death, but also physical death which is separation from God. Therefore all human beings are born with a sinful

SALVATION
There is necessity for salvation by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by which the sinner is pardoned and accepted as righteous in God’s sight. This justification is imputed by the grace of God because of the atoning work of Christ, which is received by faith alone and is evidenced by the Fruit of the Spirit and a holy life.

THE CHURCH
Those who are justified are members of the Body, the Church of Jesus Christ. They are enjoined to assemble themselves for worship, fellowship, counsel, and instruction in the Word of God. They do the work of the ministry and exercise the spiritual gifts and offices provided for the church by the Holy Spirit.

THE MINISTRIES
The gifts of the Holy Spirit and ministries that our Lord Jesus Christ has set in His Church, namely, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are operational.

THE ORDINANCES
The Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: baptism and the Lord's Supper. Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

THE COMMISSION
The Gospel embraces the needs of the whole man and that the Church is therefore commissioned to preach the gospel to the world and to fulfil a ministry of healing and deliverance to the spiritual and physical needs of mankind.

THE SECOND COMING KING
There shall be the imminent, personal, pre-millennial, second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; and we love and humbly wait for His appearing.

THE FUTURE STATE
The saved shall be eternally secured and everlastingly blessedness but the lost shall be eternally punished.
